Q & A with Henry – Healer at Bliss
Colourpuncture is a healing method that we have found brings instant relief on a deeper level, shifting the way your body, mind and soul feels in the present moment.
Colorpuncture is based on the idea that illness and pain occur when an individual has strayed off their “life path” and the treatment is sometimes used to release an ‘emotional blockage’.
During therapy, the colour crystal rods are painlessly and soothingly placed on the relevant acupuncture points on the skin to provide a holistic healing that releases the often-unknown traumas.
The warm colours – red, orange, and yellow are believed to add energy, while the cool colours – green, blue, and violet decrease energy. When used together, warm and cool colours balance yin and yang energy flows.
At Bliss, our healers Henry and Nengah both work on you simultaneously and will apply points from the acupuncture grid (minus the needles) with a myriad collection of illuminated laser-tipped crystal rods in a range of healing colours.
We have spent many hours selecting the best practitioners who fit in with the Bliss values of openness, honesty, positivity and love. Each healer we use understands that you need to feel safe and able to trust the process and are highly skilled at what they do.
Here we talk to our in-house healer Henry about colourpuncture:
So, what can colourpuncture do for you?
It has this amazing ability to raise many of the major traumas you have had in your childhood and beyond.
How is it done?
We work on you using our colours raising whatever problems you have had on a mind, body or spirit level, which is really important to getting you to a ‘clean’ slate.
Any special moments you would like to share with us?
So much of what we have done has a holistic slant, one case was a lady who had been in pain all these years following a broken ankle which continued to cause her pain even after operations. Immediately after her colour puncture session she was healed, and never felt pain again! It was amazing to see her joy afterwards.
We also had a lady who was treated at Bliss, she didn’t really talk to anybody or interact with the other guests, she was happy being by herself. It was interesting to see after her colourpuncture treatments she started to talk to people and get to know the other ladies, and after a few days she was the life and soul of the party! She had everybody laughing and for me that was probably one of the most inspiring cases in many ways.
What do you like most about working for Bliss?
I love the healing energy at Bliss, I think everyone that comes here is touched by that. The interaction is unique here for so many reasons and for many women the whole environment rubs off on them.
Why would you recommend ladies to come to Bliss?
It’s an incredibly unique place where women can come, to feel special and to heal. I feel so proud to be able to help women on their own journeys.
We wanted to share our Bliss experience as far as it can go and so we created Bliss News. Even if you can’t go on a beautiful personalised Women’s Retreat right now, we hope you can take the time to add a bit more bliss to your life in whatever way you choose. Self love comes in all different shapes and sizes but the one thing it has in common is that it starts with you. We hope some of our ideas and laughs and wellness retreat additions are something you can incorporate into your everyday life... love Zoë xxx
