The zoo is set in 12 acres of lush tropical garden and flowers with hundreds of quality built habitats including petting area for animals, walk through bird aviaries, Gibbon Islands, and Komodo Dragon cage and latest open range for african lions den. Full Day Bike Ride through Ubud This tour is guaranteed to be a memorable adventure. You are picked up by an airconditioned van then drive up to Kintamani for breakfast. The restaurant features a most exquisite view of the region’s active volcano mountain Batur and lake Batur. After breakfast you will cycle gently downhill for the next two and a half hours. During the bike ride you can stop whenever you choose to take photos and visit the local people. You will be able to find out details about village life including rice and vegetable farming, ceremonies, and family life. From a short walk into rice paddies you will then be introduced to a coffee plantation and some of the magic plants we have here in Bali. Next we will visit a village temple and learn about balinese spiritual beliefs and practices.
Volcano Trek with a very early pickup at 2.30am from Kuta area or 3am from Ubud area. The drive to the base of the volcano (Mount Batur in Kintamani) is approximately one hour from Ubud and one and half hour from Kuta area. A local guide equipped with lights will lead you on a good path up to the top of volcano. The climb is exhilarating but not difficult. Surrounded by spectacular views and learning about the local culture and you will enjoy breakfast at the summit. The total time to the summit and back approximately three hours. You will be dropped back around midday.
